A team of flight capable Autobots that are able to merge into the Super Warrior Superion. They were recruited into the Earth Wars when it was realized that the Decepticons had a strategic advantage in air power and these bots leveled the playing field. By contrast the Decepticons realized their ground deficiency and recruited the Stuntiicons which quickly became the nemesis for the Aerialbots.
While normally five bots are needed to form Superion there are extras in the group to switch out with, or to add to the group. Often Superion merges with six bots; with one fulfilling the role as an extra powerful gun.
